Chief Executive Officer
As one of the co-founders
of the firm, Mr. Mazza has actively managed White Nagle Mazza & Associates,
Inc. since it’s inception. Over his career, Ed has developed and managed
hundreds of business valuation assignments for a variety of purposes
including merger, acquisition, financing, recapitalization, strategic
decision-making and shareholder liquidity issues.
A
frequent speaker on the subject of business valuation, Ed has conducted CEC
seminars, written, published and co-authored articles for business
publications and professional trade journals. Ed attended Gannon College in
Erie, PA and earned his CFP Certified Financial Planner designation in
1986, a Series 6, 63 NASD, Life, Health and Disability Insurance Licenses.

Gary
Fodor, CFA, CBA, MBA
Chief Investment Officer
Mr.
Fodor is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with 30 years of securities
analysis and investment policy experience. He earned his series 7, 63,
Registered Investment Advisor and CFP Certified Financial Planner
designations. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in physics and mathematics
and an MBA in Accounting. He is a Certified Business Appraiser and a
Regional Governor for the Institute Of Business Appraisers where he serves
on the national IBA Ethics Committee.
Mr.
Fodor has been associated with White Nagle Mazza & Associates, Inc. since
1991 and in his capacity has performed hundreds of valuations of
closely-held business interests for merger, acquisition, financing, capital
management and shareholder liquidity purposes.

Joseph
E. Marchini
Director M&A/Investment Banking
With 18 years of banking
experience with The First National Bank of Pa, Joe began in the Credit
Department and quickly advanced to the lending side where he decided to
develop his career. He held various titles throughout the years, ending with
SVP in charge of all commercial business with 8 lending officers reporting
to him and managing a commercial portfolio of $300 million. Mr. Marchini
chaired the banks loan committee and had a personal lending limit of $1
million.
In 1998 Joe joined Rent-Way
Inc. where he was in charge of Acquisitions and Divestitures. During his
tenure and under his leadership, the company made in excess of 25
acquisitions and grown from 400 to 1000 stores with revenues in excess of
$500 million. In addition to his day-to-day M&A operational
responsibilities, Joe coordinated the company’s Strategic Plan, oversaw
Corporate Budgets and managed all Corporate Contacts. Joe is a graduate of
Gannon University with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Finance.

John
Wood, JD
Director Intellectual
Property
Mr. Wood has over 20 years
of experience in the valuation of intangible assets and intellectual
property. He is a graduate with honors from the University of Bristol,
England with a degree in law. Previously, he was Director of E-commerce for
KPMG. Mr. Wood has testified on intellectual property issues before the U.S.
House of Representative’s Judiciary sub-committee on IP and the Courts, as
well as, the World Intellectual Property Organization. In a public advocacy
role, Mr. Wood has represented AOL, BT, Microsoft, NSI and CSSA on
intellectual property related issues.
As an expert on the
Internet, he has provided consulting services to AFN, AT&T, BBC Worldwide
Publishing, BT, Cable and Wireless, Glaxo-Wellcome, General Motors, Walt
Disney and Williams Communications. Mr. Wood has been a special advisor to
FASB on intangible asset disclosures and co-authored the training manual on
FASB Statements 141 and 142 developed by the
Institute of
Business Appraisers.

Richard S. Sowa, CFP®
Director of Financial Planning
Mr.
Sowa began his affiliation with White Nagle Mazza & Associates, Inc. as a
contract consultant in 1991. After seven years with the Comptroller of the
Currency, Rich began his financial planning career as a Licensed Public
Accountant when he acquired his Series 7, 63, Life, Health, Disability and
P& C Insurance Licenses. In addition he earned his Certified Financial
Planner (CFP®) in 1986 along with the CFS Certified Funds Specialist
designations.
Mr.
Sowa is an adjunct instructor for Kaplan Financial where he teaches the
Certified Financial Planner educational program to candidates preparing for
the CFP exam. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management/Accounting.
